On March 8th, I had the pleasure of attending Kari Noble's album release concert at Crooners Supper Club. This concert was different from the first one I attended. The band was there, and many new songs for the upcoming album were performed. The interaction between Kari and the band members was very fun, and the added cello to the songs was a delightful touch.
The audience was very enthused, and you could feel the enjoyment in the air. Keri looked lovely and the band was definitely in tune with the location and Kari's keyboard. Her stories about the music and her life make you feel like she has been a lifelong friend. She truly cares about what the audience is feeling and that we enjoy ourselves for a few hours and forget our troubles and melt into the world of her music. The food at Crooners was very well prepared and tasty. The sound was great, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sounds coming from the stage. The atmosphere was intimate. It was wonderful to be close enough to see the expressions on the faces of Kari and the band.I am eagerly looking forward to the release of the new album. I enjoyed the concert immensely. Kari's habit of asking the audience for requests at the end of the show is always a highlight. Although I missed hearing "Your Home," I can hope to hear it the next time I see Kari. I would encourage anyone who enjoys her music to attend a concert. It is worth the money you spend, the time, and the talent that she gifts to us. Unforgualy I was not able to stay long after the show to thank her and the band for a great evening. Keri truly seems to care about her audience.
